Gingerbread is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It is appreciated by millions daily. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Gingerbread is something which I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have gingerbread using 19 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Gingerbread:
  1. Prepare 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  2. Prepare 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  3. Prepare 2 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger
  4. Take 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  5. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  6. Take 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. Take 1/8 teaspoon ground blackboepper
  8. Get 1/8 teaspoon ground cayeene pepper
  9. Make ready 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
  10. Take 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  11. Get For Serving
  12. Get 1 large egg
  13. Make ready 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  14. Make ready 3/4 cup old fashioned molasses
  15. Make ready 1/4 cup sour cream
  16. Get 1/4 cup raisins, optional
  17. Take as needed fresh whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream
  18. Prepare For Garnish
  19. Take candied ginget
Steps to make Gingerbread:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Spray a 8 by 8 baking pan with bakers sprau
  2. Whisk together in a bowl, flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt, black and cayeene pepper
  3. In another large bowl beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla
  5. Beat in the molasses
  6. Add half of flour mixture and stir in, then remaining flour and stir in, then stir in sour cream. Fold in raisins if using
  7. Spread evenly into prepared pan. Place pan on foil lined baking sheet and bake for approximately 40 minutes until a skwer comes out just clean in the center. Let cool about 15 minutes to serve hot in sqares.
  8. Serve with Whipped Cream or Vanilla ice cream or both! Garnish with Candied ginger.
  9. This is best warm but can be made in advance, cut into serving sqares and wrapped in indivdually and frozen. Thaw and microwave each piece to serve. Also it can be baked early in the day but don't cut the servings until ready to eat. Heat each serving just until warm in the microwave
