  1. Make ready 1 kg Chicken
  2. Take 400 gms Curd
  3. Take 1 Small onion
  4. Get 15 Garlic cloves, chopped
  5. Prepare 1 Ginger piece
  6. Prepare Handful Coriander leaves
  7. Take 30 black pepper corns
  8. Take 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  9. Get 2 Green chillies
  10. Prepare 400 grams Milk
  11. Prepare 1 tsp Chat masala
  12. Prepare 20 Pistachios
  13. Get 1 teaspoon Salt
  14. Take 1 tbsp Dry fenugreek leaves
  15. Take 2 Lemon juice
  16. Get 3 Green cardamon
  17. Get 6 Cloves
  18. Take For smokey flavour-
  19. Prepare 2 Green cardamons
  20. Get 1 Coal
  21. Take 1/2 tsp Butter
  22. Prepare 1 cup Oil
  23. Make ready 2 tbsp Cream
  24. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
Steps to make Chicken afgani:
  1. Add ginger, garlic, onion, green chilli, pista, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, black pepper in mixer jar and grind it to make a fine paste.
  2. In a bowl add curd and milk, mix well then add the grind masala, salt, chat masala, garam masala, fenugreek leaves, lemon juice and mix well then add chicken pieces for marinating and keep it aside for 1hour.
  3. Take a pan add oil and fry the chicken well and keep the fired chicken aside.
  4. Then in the same oil drain and add clove, green cardamon and the leftover mixture and cook well by covering the lid and after 2 minutes add the chicken pieces and cook it well and check. Then add some water for making the chicken gravy and cook well, then add cream, mix well and keep the flame low and cook it for 15 minutes. Then burn the coal and keep in the chicken with clove, green cinnamon, butter and cover the lid for the smoky flavour.
  5. Ready to serve with garlic butter naan.
  6. Enjoy it with your family.
