  1. Make ready 2 eye fillet steaks approx 200-250g
  2. Prepare Whole Spanish onion quartered

  6. Take 1 clove garlic
  7. Make ready 1 tablespoon tomato sauce

  1. Wrap bacon around sides of the steaks
  2. Turn on grill element (top) on high in your oven - In a oven proof heavy bottom roasting tray, put onto high heat on the stove with splash of oil.
  3. Place steak to sear for couple mins and without turning over put in oven with onion and garlic clove. - Cook for 8-13 mins depending on your desired doness. Use a steak thermometer if need be.
  4. Take out pit steaks on plate to rest. Put tray back on stove, and deglaze tray with wine and add remaining ingredients to reduce until desired thickness. - - Plate steak and drizzle strained red wine sauce over. - - Serve with vegetables/ salad or chips
