  1. Make ready 1 cup coarse wheat flour
  2. Make ready 1/4 cup besan/gram flour
  3. Prepare 3-4 teaspoon oil
  4. Prepare 1 1/2 cup chopped fresh fenugreek leaves
  5. Make ready to taste Salt
  6. Take 1 tablespoon green chillies ginger garlic paste
  7. Make ready 3/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  8. Make ready 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  9. Get 2 teaspoon sugar
  10. Get 1/4 cup curd
  11. Take For tadka
  12. Take 2 tablespoon oil
  13. Get 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  14. Make ready 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  15. Make ready 1/2 lemon
  16. Get 2 tsp Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Steps to make Methi muthiya:
  1. In a plate take coarse wheat flour and besan in one side. Add chopped fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves besides them.
  2. Now add oil in flour. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, chilli ginger garlic paste, sugar and curd into methi leaves. Mix flour and oil with hand. Mix all masalas and methi leaves well with hand so it releases water.
  3. Now combine all ingredients well and make soft dough form. Then prepare cylindrical logs from it.
  4. Steam into steamer for 20 minutes on low to medium flame. Cool down for sometime. Then cut into pieces.
  5. In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds. When crackles add sesame seeds. Add muthiya pieces and mix gently. Squeeze juice of half lemon if you like. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  6. Tasty muthiya is ready to serve. Serve with green chutney.
