PLACE cream cheese in slow cooker. The dip is ready when the cheese is fully melted and you no longer see chunks of cream cheese. Layer your ingredients in this order: beans, chicken, salsa, cheese. Serve either on top of chips or with chips as a dip.

  1. put slow cooker on low, and season chicken to your liking inside
  2. add the envelope of taco seasoning and the cream of chicken and let cook for 4-5 hours on low or until chicken begins to shred
  3. after chicken is cooked and shredded add 1cup of water, rotel, tomatoe sauce, French onion and salsa.
  4. let everything simmer on low for 10 minutes then add jalapenos and cheese a small bit at a time
  5. keep the slow cooker on warm so the cheese will melt evenly and it is ready to serve.
  6. this will definately feed more than 10people and it is best served hot from the slow cooker

Layer your ingredients in this order: beans, chicken, salsa, cheese. Serve either on top of chips or with chips as a dip. A number of chicken dip recipes call for canned chicken breast. This is a logical shortcut, considering that the other ingredients don't need to be precooked. The downside is that canned chicken can have a mealy texture when cooked in the dip.
