The ingredients needed to make Crockpot Pulled chicken:
  1. Prepare 8 pieces skinless boneless chicken breast
  2. Make ready 2 cups barbecue sauce (your choice)
  3. Make ready 1 cup water (more if needed)
  4. Get tortilas or buns (as many as needed)

Then, with two forks, a knife, or your clean fingers, shred the chicken into small pieces. The chicken should pull apart easily from its long, slow simmer in the slow cooker. Line the bottom of the crock pot with the onions. Trim the chicken breasts and place on top of the bed of onions.

Steps to make Crockpot Pulled chicken:
  1. Place raw chicken breast in crock pot add enough water to cover all the chicken then cook on high for 3hrs. After the 3hrs check temp of chicken should be 180°once cooked drain water out and shred chicken. Then place back into crock pot and mix your barbecue sauce in and add 1cup water to help sauce to cover better mix it together then let sit for 3 min mix once then take out and place on your buns or tortillas. And enjoy
  2. You can add more sauce if needed. 1cup barbecue sauce to 1cup water if your adding more sauce.

Line the bottom of the crock pot with the onions. Trim the chicken breasts and place on top of the bed of onions. Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle with seasonings. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. In a bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder.
