Spring rolls are a large variety of filled, rolled appetizers or dim sum found in East Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian cuisine. Spring rolls are super healthy and very easy to make. They are also very versatile, there are so many different ingredients that you can put in them. What are some of your favorite ingredients?

  1. Prepare For spring rolls
  2. Prepare 2 rice wrappers
  3. Prepare For the spring rolls stuffing
  4. Get 1 tbsp oil
  5. Get 2 tsp finely chopped ginger
  6. Take 1/2 cup sliced onions
  7. Get 1 cup thickly grated carrot
  8. Take 1 cup shredded cabbage
  9. Get 1/2 cup sliced capsicum
  10. Take 1 cup boiled hakka noodles
  11. Take as per taste Salt
  12. Take 1 tsp tomato sauce

Spring rolls are a delicious side dish to any Asian-influenced meal or can be a great snack on their own. Save yourself some cash and add to your culinary skill with these fried and flavourful delights. Spring rolls are my absolute favorite Vietnamese food. Apparently, people have different versions of the dipping sauce.

Instructions to make Spring roll:
  1. ꜰᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱᴩʀɪɴɢ ʀᴏʟʟꜱ ꜱᴛᴜꜰꜰɪɴɢ: heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic and ginger and saute on a high flame for 30 seconds
  2. Add the onions and saute on a high flame and add the capsicum and saute on a high flame for 1 mint
  3. Add the carrot, cabbage,noodles and cook on a high flame for 3 mint, while stirring occasionally
  4. Not off the flame add ketchup sauce and salt. Mix it well
  5. Now, take rice wrapper, and put the stuffing on it
  6. Roll over the wrapper till ¾th.fold over from both sides one by one towards the centre. Finally roll it and seal the edges
  7. Heat the oil in a deep pan, and put the spring on it, till thay turn golden brown in colour from all the sides
  8. Drain on an absorbenr papet and cut each spring roll diagonally into 4 equal pieces using a sharp knife
  9. And serve with red sauce

Spring rolls are my absolute favorite Vietnamese food. Apparently, people have different versions of the dipping sauce. In our family (and yes, we're Vietnamese), we make a peanut-hoisin dipping sauce. When I was growing up, Chinatown was the only place you went for authentic Chinese food, but it was almost exclusively Cantonese restaurants. These fresh spring rolls are a healthy, delicious appetizer!
