  7. Cool Completely.
  8. Lemon Glaze – combine 1 cup confectioners sugar and 3-4 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon zest.

After baking, immediately invert pan and cool completely. For the sauce, combine the pie filling, milk, lemon juice and extract in a bowl; beat until smooth. Combine lemon juice, sugar, condensed milk into whipped cream. Repeat the layers of cake and sauce. For the best lemon flavor use fresh lemon zest and lemon juice.
